Public speaker, Consultant, & teacher
Sharing stories is, as folks in the entrepreneurial community put it, Mark’s “unique ability.” Mark lives for sharing stories about food, salt, cooking, cocktails, and liquid culture. Stories, he believes, are the way we connect to new ideas, new knowledge, and ultimately new wisdom. Storytelling and educating has led him to speaking engagements around the world, from Ukraine to New York to Japan. He’s a repeat lecturer at institutions like The Smithsonian and lectures at culinary schools such as the French Culinary Institute, the Institute of Culinary Education, and Le Cordon Bleu. Engagements with corporate clients have ranged from C-suite presentations for the Marriott to top secret fun stuff with Pepsico.
